I am happy to have my exchange study at The University of Adelaide with the support of the Endeavour Cheung Kong Student Exchange Programme Scholarship, which lightened my financial burden and enabled me to have a chance to study abroad in Australia. This scholarship has enabled me to widen my horizons without hassles.

Two years has passed since I left Australia at the time I wrote this article, but I still always tell my fellow schoolmates and friends that my exchange study in Australia is a fruitful experience to me. I can even say it is one of the joyful moments in life.

As an exchange student, I always mention the term "cultural shock" and going on exchange is one of the ways to experience a totally different culture, which brings many benefits to my future career. I can have a chance to build my connection in Australia by meeting people there, learn to be independent by staying away from family... All these are good for future career development. This scholarship has enabled many students like me, to study abroad and experience Hong Kong and Australian cultures.

During my time in Adelaide, what I achieved was more than just knowledge from the books. Besides studying (of course that is the main purpose), I travelled to a number of places in Australia, met friends who came from different parts of the world in my university.

I am so grateful to be a recipient of this scholarship and be an exchange student to Australia.
