Exchanging to Australia is one of the most valuable experiences in my life. During my exchange period, I studied Bachelor of Commerce on the Gold Coast at Griffith University for one semester, which undoubtedly was the highlight of my university life. I am honored to receive the Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Award in support for my exchange.

Before I planned to exchange in Australia, I searched a lot of information online regarding its culture, weather and places. This made me feel more passionate to come over Australia and experience the Aussie life. When I first arrived in Gold Coast, the city was very comfortable, along with the beautiful beaches and sunshine. The entire environment seemed relaxing and integrated with the nature. I was fortune to have the valuable opportunity to explore around city and understand Australia outdoor activities such as surfing.

I had to admit that I knew nobody at Griffith when I first came, which was like a new beginning for me to start and adopt my new life. Surprisingly, the people here were very diverse and welcoming. This made me feel less nervous and allowed me to make many good friends across different cultures as well. The learning atmosphere in Australia was aspiring as there were constant active engagements between students and professors, helping me to build up an enthusiasm with my study.

Overall, the diverse connections of people and culture make Australia even more special. I am so happy that I chose Australia for my exchange and would like to thank you Cheung Kong Group and the Australian Government to support me for this amazing and unforgettable lifetime experience.
