WANG Yunbo The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Life is like a box of chocolates and the only thing one can do is to explore and taste it. That was exactly what my life in Australia was like. During my four months’ stay in this fabulous country, many “first times in my life” happened. For the first time in my life, I fed a kangaroo and touched a koala. For the first time in my life, I saw little penguins waddling on beaches instead of ice. For the first time in my life, I stood up on a surfboard and yelled “Awesome!” to myself. Apart from the beautiful scenery and exciting activities, I was also impressed by the warm and easygoing nature of the Australian people. Friends tease each other and conversations are often filled with witty banter, which spices up each day. Finally, I want to express my gratitude to UTS and the Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Awards. This wonderful exchange experience has honed my skills in many aspects, such as improving my communication skills and teaching me to adjust to new environments. I believe it will help me succeed in my future career.
