I am profoundly grateful to have been awarded an Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong scholarship. Because of this sponsorship, my overseas exchange experience was very fruitful since I had the extra resources to be able to participate in local activities during the exchange programme. This exchange experience was definitely one of the highlights of my life.

For instance, I joined the school soccer team and took part in local matches, which gave me the opportunity to get to know the Australians better. I also travelled around Australia and experienced a culture different from my own which really expanded my horizons. With the help of the scholarship, I was able to visit several wildlife parks and explore the vast countryside, gaining an awareness of just how important protecting the environment really is. When I got back home, I spread the word about environmental conservation to my schoolmates and family.

I am so thankful for the scholarship which gave me the chance to explore a completely foreign culture and enhance my life to a great extent. Australia is a very beautiful country. I fell in love with the place and I definitely hope to visit Australia again in the future.
