Mok Chun Keung Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong
Australia is a really nice place to study where you have the chance to explore different things, such as language, culture and nature. The University of Queensland in Brisbane is my host university. At the university, I am able to meet different people from different places, for instance, China, Japan, Korea, USA, England, etc. I treasure the opportunity to build up friendships with these different people. I believe that these multi-cultural friendships will provide me with “unpredictable” experiences in the future. Teachers at the university are very nice too. Whenever I have had any problems, they are willing to provide assistance. The most impressive thing I experienced during the exchange programme is that I have to travel by vessel (City Cat) everyday, which I had never experienced in Hong Kong. Despite the short travel time, I feel very comfortable watching the view, especially during sunset. If you have the chance to experience it, I think you would have the same feeling as me. At Easter, I went to Cairns to enjoy my holiday. During this trip, I went snorkeling and had an adventure in the Daintree Rainforest. I believe this exchange programme will be an unforgettable memory in my life. I hope I can share all my experiences with everybody. Lastly, I sincerely express my appreciation for the Australia Cheung Kong Scholarship Programme in supporting me on this trip.
