Wing In Leung, Windy The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong I went on exchange to Adelaide, Australia last July. I have been here for eight months already! Oh…I cannot believe that! I can still remember how bad I felt during my first two months here in Adelaide. I am from Hong Kong, a busy city with a buzzing nightlife! In comparison, Adelaide is such a quiet place. I was bored to death. I could not understand how they could stand living such a dull life. People here in Adelaide walk much slower than me. I just acted like I was going to a war with such a fast pace. However, I have adapted to the life here. Although the people are a bit slower, they are friendly to everyone. You can simply talk to the cashier in the shop or to people waiting at the bus stop. Holidays, for them, are for relaxing. And I really mean RELAXING. You can barely find any shops open at Christmas or Easter. People would rather go on a family trip or just spend time at home. I have not traveled to lots of places in Australia yet. However, I really enjoyed my Easter trip to central Australia. I went to Ayers Rock, the biggest rock in the world! Not only did we just visit, but we also CLIMBED
